Then the children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them.
But the disciples rebuked those who brought them. Jesus said, "Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
Matthew 19:13-14 NIV

PHILOSOPHY
"Lo, children are an heritage from the Lord," Psalm 127:3
The purpose of the Greater Zion Day Care is to provide a nurturing environment in which children grow spiritually,
mentally, emotionally, physically, and socially. It is our goal to introduce the children to and practice the ways of
our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, daily. This is to be accomplished by providing learning and developmental experiences
consistent with the Christian principles of the church, based on the authority of the Bible.
- We believe that children are a heritage from God, given to us to nurture.
- We believe that children are unique, special, and capable of learning.
- We believe that every child is a precious individual, worthy of unconditional love and respect.
- We believe that children will recognize their potential when they are offered
opportunities to grow in a safe and loving environment.
- We believe that childcare outside the home should be supported but cannot substitute for full time parental care.
- We believe that communication between the caregivers, parents, and the children is an important foundation for establishing and growing a trusting relationship.
